In complaint Gorjanc Prelević states: “The editor in-chief of the PRESS portal is Ranko Miljanić, while there is a belief that the real owner of that portal, close to the authorities, is in fact Vladimir Otasevic, the Executive director of RTV Podgorica.”
We publish Otašević's answer in its entirety:
“Tea Gorjanc Prelevic insinuates that I am the actual owner of the PRESS portal, which of course is not true. In the Central Register of Business Entities (CRPS) you can clearly see who is the owner of the PRESS Portal, and also in the Impresum of that media. It is true that I am the former owner of that portal, but Gorjanc Prelevic does not mention that in the post on the HRA website. I also read the text that Gorjanc Prelevic complained about and her complaint on the HRA website. As someone who has been engaged in investigative journalism for ten years and who has received several awards for his investigative work, among other things, I can say without any hesitation that Gorjanc Prelevic attacks investigative journalism in Montenegro. Investigative journalism is protected by the freedom of expression and the public's right to information. Any attempt – through pressure like this one by Tee Gorjanc Prelevic – is considered a violation of democratic standards and human rights. it is stated in Otasevic's answer, submitted to the PRESS portal.
